Join us as a High-Performance Specialist – Academy, where you’ll play a key role in building a development program across the entire Malmö FF academy that will focus on the psychosocial aspects of the players development.

Position Summary

Aiming to continue with its elite performance, Malmö FF wants to enhance its high-performance environment (HPE) building a development program across the entire academy that will focus on the psychosocial aspects of the players development. This job includes workshops and activities with the aim of developing players´ mental and social strengths.

Job overview

• Responsible for HPE Program
•     – Development & improvement
•     – Implementation
•     – Evaluation (together with Management Team)
• Responsible for creating content for the program/system which includes organization and delivery of workshops/activities related to it.
• Complete understanding of group dynamics across the academy as well as a clear picture of player’s IDP (Individual Development Plans)
• Will have to be updated on player’s academic situation in collaboration with those responsible of the area in MFF.
• Presence in training practices and games will be needed.
• Will have to engage with players, coaches, parents, agents, and teachers.
• Aiming to get inspiration from those who have a similar program going on, traveling two to three times a year could be required.
• The main activities are to support players, coaches and leaders in the development of psychosocial skills.

Must

• Psychologist, Sports Psychologist or similar background with proven experience in the field
• Proven experience (individual conversations and talks in group)
• Team sports
• Tech friendly

• High communication skills with different age groups
• Reflective and observative
• Pedagogic and able to build trust.
• Energetic
• Self-driven and proactive

Preferred

• Experience in football environment
• Swedish and English speaking
