Job Summary:
This position is a seasonal role supporting the Detroit Tigers’ Growth Marketing department.
Key Responsibilities:
- General administrative support to the Growth Marketing department.
- Coordination of internal communications for Growth Marketing department including organization of weekly staff meetings and the development and distribution of meeting notes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with Growth Marketing Director to organize and execute special programs aimed at broadening the team’s audience.
- Conduct thorough ticket sales, activation, and brand research of other sports and entertainment teams and leagues.
- Assist in the use of analytics to evaluate Growth Marketing initiatives, measure campaign effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Assist the Growth Marketing Director on marketing creative tracking and requests.
- Coordinate with community organizations and corporate partners to identify opportunities to engage with new fan segments and enhance outreach efforts.
- Assist with the execution of Detroit Tigers Kids Club.
- Assist with other Marketing aspects as needed.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- College senior or recent graduate (within 6 months).
- Prior internship or administrative experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and attitude in office setting.
- Strong computer skills with high level of experience in Microsoft Office.
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to moderate noise level.
- Frequent visual/auditory attention.
- This position will require working non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings.
